Current Opportunities

Start your HVAC career through RDI’s paid, three-year apprenticeship program. Apprentices receive hands-on field experience, classroom training, full-time pay and benefits while learning from experienced commercial HVAC professionals.

Classes are held in Tomball, TX with jobsite across the greater Houston area.

This entry-level position supports project managers and field leadership with project documentation, materials, schedules and communication while gaining hands-on experience in both office and jobsite operations.

This senior field leadership position oversees manpower, production, scheduling, safety and quality on large commercial mechanical and mission-critical projects. The role works closely with project management, general contractors and other trades to anticipate issues, maintain progress and deliver each project according to plan.

The Service Administrative Manager leads the office side of RDI’s Service & Maintenance division.

This role supervises our Service and Billing Coordinators and keeps work orders, service tickets, and on-call schedules moving smoothly between the field and the office.

You’ll make sure billing goes out accurately and on time, track maintenance agreements and renewals, keep technicians current on safety requirements, and report on department performance to leadership. You’ll also train and develop the admin team and look for ways to make the process run better.

0-1 year of experience

Service Coordinator I is where you learn how commercial HVAC service runs from the office.

You’ll schedule and dispatch technicians, confirm appointments with customers, order parts and materials, and track jobs from dispatch to completion. A big part of the role is keeping scheduled maintenance agreements on track and making sure every technician arrives with the right parts, information, and site requirements. Full training on our systems and processes is provided.

2+ years of experience

Service Coordinator II handles day-to-day service coordination with little supervision and takes on the financial side of the work.

Along with scheduling and dispatch, you’ll plan jobs before they start, track job costs against budget, coordinate billing, and make customer follow-up calls. You’ll also train technicians on our field software, help onboard new hires, manage warranty and refrigerant documentation, and back up the Field Supervisor when needed.

3 to 5 years of experience

Service Coordinator III is a senior role in the Service Department. You’ll run job turnovers on your own, review completed maintenance work for quality, and own billing from job completion through invoicing, customer portals, and collections.

You’ll also manage technician PTO coverage, track apprenticeship progress, maintain the department price book, and lead process and software improvements. Coordinators at this level mentor Service Coordinator I and II team members and back up Field Supervisors and management.
